Womens Health and Family Services specialises in women's health issues, providing medical, counselling, alcohol and other drug support, domestic violence, mental health and other health services for women and their families. The programs and services at WHFS are open to all West Australian women and their families, with consideration made for the unique needs of Aboriginal, migrant and refugee families.

Medical Receptionist - Part time 20 hours per week

 

Womens Health & Family Services is seeking a motivated Medical Receptionist with experience in providing high quality reception services to clients and staff in a caring and supportive manner while maintaining confidentiality of all information. The position is for 20 hours per week - 10:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday.

The role includes:

  • Providing first point of contact for those coming into and telephoning Womens Health & Family Services
  • Coordinate Medical & Health appointments and other functions through GENIE
  • Maintain appointment system for doctors and counsellors including reminders, follow ups and cancellations

 

Salary range of $23.96 to $29.80 per hour with attractive salary packaging entitlements and superannuation in a dynamic organisation.

Family Services Manager

 

Womens Health & Family Services is seeking a motivated Manager with experience and qualifications for its Family Services program to provide overall management and leadership to Family Services staff delivering programs to women and their families as well as providing overall leadership to staff, volunteers and students.

The position is for 4 days per week for 12 months and is located in Northbridge.

 

The following Selection Criteria applies to this position:

  • Relevant qualification, tertiary qualifications in social work or counselling, cultural studies, family studies.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the WA Family and Domestic Violence Sector.
  • Working with CaLD communities, particularly CaLD women.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in management and leadership.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in clinical counselling competencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement and review relevant policies and protocols pertaining to Standards of Practice in program areas.
  • Proven human resource management skills.
  • Financial management skills and experience in budget preparation and management.
  • An understanding of the relevant legislation pertaining to the area of practice and programs and working knowledge of relevant legislation in EEO, Disability Services and Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Federal Police Clearance.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Current 'C' class drivers licence.

 

Fluency in other language than English is seen as desirable, not essential.

Salary range of $86,658 to $99,820 with attractive salary packaging entitlements and superannuation in a dynamic organisation.
