The Body Esteem Program's Eating Disorders Resource Directory

This directory contains a listing of services that are provided by private health professionals, community organisations and government departments in the Perth metropolitan area that either specialise, or have an interest in working to support people with eating disorders.

The directory has been divided into various sections based upon profession, then listed by suburb in alphabetical order. Each listing has contact information and we encourage you to contact the service providers directly to verify their details as the information may be subject to change.

Are you a Service Provider that supports people with eating disorders?

 

  • If you would like your service to be added to the latest edition of the Eating Disorders Resource Directory, simply complete the Eating Disorders Directory Proforma and send it to BEP@whfs.org.au
  • If you are a health professional interested in training to increase competence and confidence in managing clients with Eating Disorders throughout Western Australia, we suggest viewing the Eating Disorders Training and Evaluation Centre (EDTEC) program(s) based at Princess Margaret Hospital Princess Margaret Hospital Eating Disorders Program.

The Body Esteem Program® is a service which offers support for women who experience eating disorders, such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Binge Eating Disorder. The program supports and assists women to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing and to make and sustain positive change through a 20-week recovery focused group based on the self-help model.
