Telehealth Rebates

We can only provide telehealth rebates to clients who have an existing and continuous relationship with their medical practitioner. Those eligible for telehealth rebates need to have seen their practitioner face-to-face at least once in the past 12 months. New patients will need to have a face-to-face appointment with our practitioner before accessing telehealth appointments.

This is known as the ’12-month rule’ under the Medicare Benefits Schedule.

Of course, you are welcome to have a first-time telehealth session. Just note it is not rebatable.

*Exceptions apply for patients isolating due to COVID-19 and infants under 12 months of age.
