Medical and Clinical Services
The medical and clinical services provide women's health information, advice, counselling and support and treatment for a broad range of women’s health issues.
The medical and clinical services are staffed by experienced women doctors with a special interest in women’s health and experienced women’s health nurse counsellors. Nurses provide telephone information, and that the clinical service can provide talks on women's health issues by arrangement.
Rural clients, please note that the new Rural In Reach program is available through select Community Resource Centres to provide health information and talks. A Clinical Advice and Support Service is also available by telephone to women in rural areas on: 1800 998 399
WHFS provides medical health checks and test for female-related health issues.
These services are provided by female doctors and nurses.

Clinical Counselling Services
The female nurses and health workers at WHFS can also provide clinical health information, counselling and support services over the phone, in one on one sessions, or in group sessions at our centre in Northbridge. The information, counselling and support services are confidential.
A specialised program is also available called 'CAHP', that supports women who have been abused during consultations with a health professional.
To access the Clinical Counselling Service, simply contact WHFS reception on (08) 6330 5400 and ask to speak to a nurse.

Appointments with a relevant healthcare concession card will be bulk-billed. For appointments with a medicare card but no concession, you will be out of pocket $25 after the medicare rebate. However as prices can vary it is best to contact us to find out more about particular appointment costs.
Please Note: Fees can be negotiated based on financial hardship.
Free creche facilities are available, please let us know if you will require them.
Interpreters and Bilingual Services
WHFS staff are happy to use interpreters or bilingual workers.
If an interpreter is required for your appointment, please discuss this with us at the time of booking.
